Telecare's Clark County Evaluation and Treatment Center will be a 12 bed inpatient, acute psychiatric unit. An interdisciplinary team will provide progressive recovery based services to adults who have mental illness.

As the Director of Social Services you will plan, implement and direct the Social Services Department which provides casework services to clients and their families using Psychiatric Rehabilitation concepts and Recovery Philosophy. Additional responsibilities include coordination of the admission and discharge processes and maintaining a liaison with local hospitals and agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Must have two years of direct service experience with chronically mentally ill clients and two years of supervisory experience within an inpatient acute psychiatric setting

-Masters degree in Social Work, a Washington Licensed Clinical Social Worker or MFT license or a Licensed Professional Counselor is necessary

-Must possess a valid drivers license and insurability are also required

-Necessary skills include a demonstrated understanding of psychiatric illness, the ability to identify symptoms and the severity of illness, the ability to predict with reasonable accuracy a client’s appropriateness and the ability to respond to treatment

-Demonstrated ability to develop and write programs and procedures related to the care of the chronically mentally ill client are essential

-You will be fingerprinted and must receive clearance from the Washington State Patrol Identification and Criminal History Section

As the Clinical Administrator, you will manage the day to day operations of a program including:

-Ensuring clinical operations of program are consistent with Psychiatric Rehabilitation concepts and Recovery philosophy

-Establishing, supporting, interpreting, directing and coordinating implementation of facility philosophy, organizational objectives, policies and procedures

-Providing communication linkage between corporate management and facility departments, and the establishment and maintenance of a clear reporting structure detailing the relationships and responsibilities of all facility departments and positions

-You will assure compliance with appropriate regulations. In addition, you will oversee and assure that there are comprehensive quality Assurance and Utilization Review programs in place.

-Responsible for fiscal management of facility including responsibility for implementing, maintaining, and evaluating budgets in all operational departments, analyzing budget variances with departments and develop explanation and /or correction action plans required and responsibility to establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard physical, financial, and human resources.

-Prepares administrative records, reports and analyses; manages facility information systems

-Utilize knowledge of and assurance of compliance with regulatory bodies

-Identifies management learning needs of department heads and provides opportunities to meet those needs

QUALIFICATIONS

-Must have a Master’s Degree in hospital administration, social work, nursing or related field and four+ years’ experience in a progressively responsible supervisory/leadership positions in a psychiatric or related health care setting

-Understanding of intensive case management, residential treatment and psychiatric rehabilitation concepts. Current LCSW, MFCC, RN, Ph.D, LPC. license or Certified OT.

-Experience in a recovery based inpatient program is highly desirable

-Ability to successfully manage staff is essential. 2+ years’ in health care administration; knowledge and experience in a psychiatric treatment facility

-Strong understanding of recovery clinical model is essential

-Necessary skills include strong management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to manage a diverse workforce

-You must receive clearance from the Washington State Patrol Identification and Criminal History Section
