Networking Opportunities!
The NASW-WA Membership Engagement Committee developed opportunities to connect with social work professionals and engage in focused discussions. Practice Area Network meetings scheduled for January to June 2022 include opportunities to discuss self-care, legislative updates, paths to social work licensure, and a focus on clinical topics.

2022 NASW-WA Policy Conference: Registration Open!
The NASW-WA Legislative Action Committee (LAC) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2022 NASW-WA Policy Conference!
The virtual program will feature speakers from the Legislature and policy professionals, NASW-WA's policy agenda, and activities to increase knowledge about the legislative process. Save the Date for February 21, 2022. Register to attend here! 2 CE contact hour hours available!

Call for Chapter Leadership!
Do you know a social worker who should help lead NASW-WA's work?
Chapter Board positions are open for nomination, and we need to hear from YOU who should lead our Chapter and represent Washington's social workers. Our Chapter Board determines WA Chapter programming, develops local and state-wide initiatives, and informs the overall direction of the Chapter. Board of members bring dedication, experience, and determination to make our Association better for ALL social workers. The following Board positions are available for our upcoming election this spring:

Commercial Payor Sign-On Letters: NASW signed onto 21 letters to commercial health insurance payors urging them to support continued coverage for tele-mental health services in line with the PHE declaration for all ambulatory levels of care—partial hospitalization program, intensive outpatient program and outpatient program.
