Join NASW Washington Chapter on August 17, 2022 at 6:00 PM to learn about the social work licensure compact draft and its potential impact in Washington. The purpose of the compact is to support the mobility of licensed social workers. The additional licensing pathway will facilitate multistate practice among member states and reduce the barriers to license portability. The compact is in draft form currently. At this meeting, we want to hear your comments and concerns about the compact to help inform our public comment. The chapter will provide an overview of the draft compact, the work completed nationally, next steps and any updates.

You can submit your comments online directly to the Council on State Governments (CSG) who are developing draft changes during the public comment period.
