Legislative Action Committee

NASW Washington State Chapter includes a Legislative Action Committee (LAC). The
LAC sets legislative priorities and assists the contract lobbyist in carrying out legislative
programs approved by the Board.

 

The duties include:

a) Review legislation being introduced and determine what the Chapter will support;

b) Develop a legislative agenda for the Chapter that could include introduction of legislation

that benefits NASW Members; and

c) Oversee the legislative program.
