NLIC, with the support of Chapter staff, has responsibility for: making reasonable efforts to slate at least two qualified candidates for each position in an election of Chapter Board members, Delegate Assembly (DA) representatives (if any), and NLIC members; Certifying to the Chapter Board Secretary the completed slate of candidates for compliance with the Chapter’s Diversity Plan; accepting and reviewing nominations by petition; and monitoring the election process and providing oversight for any alleged violation.

Erica Allison (2019-2022)
NASW WA Chapter NLIC Committee Chair
Erica Allison (MSW, LICSW, CMHS, CATP) lives in Vancouver, Washington and has a bachelor’s and a master’s in social work and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Her direct service experience is in working with children and families in the LGBTQ community and those experiencing trauma. Her current work has allows her to combine her passion for social work with her passion for impact and evaluation, which has allowed her to show the impact and great work of those on the ground working with children and families.

Ann Allen
NASW WA Chapter Western Washington Region
Ann Allen (LICSW) received a masters degree in social work in 1988 from the Michigan State University. She works in Seattle in integrated behavioral health care at a healthcare clinic focused on working with Asian-Pacific Islanders and immigrants at International Community Healthcare Services. She is a behavioral health provider and a specialist in high utilizers of emergency services, complex care, homeless, and co-occurring disorders. She is also a practicum instructor for Seattle University and the University of Washington advance degree programs.
